The Product Designer II will lead full design cycles for features, translating requirements into clear product features while collaborating with cross-functional teams. They will also explore and integrate AI technologies to enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Problem Solving: Own and lead full design cycles for features or a product area, comfortable reaching out for guidance when needed
- Embedding Systems Thinking: Have UX expertise and understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task
- Driving User-Centricity: Use research and data insights to inform design decisions
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners and contribute positively to team culture
- Forward thinking: Contribute to the long-term product vision by identifying opportunities for re-invention that inspire and inform new, innovative modes of user experience
Requirements
- At least 4 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience
- Foundational design-related education (such as a Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication), OR equivalent practical industry experience that demonstrates a strong design mindset
- Clear communication skills
- Solid visual design skills and attention to detail, with a drive to continuously refine craft
Key Skills
- UX expertise and understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task
- Solid visual design skills and attention to detail, with a drive to continuously refine craft
- Experience with an arsenal of tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools
