The role involves leading the discovery and requirements gathering process for new and updated websites, conducting evaluations, and translating business needs into functional designs and prototypes for mobile and desktop experiences. Responsibilities also include presenting recommendations to clients and mentoring junior UX designers.

Responsibilities

  • Run the discovery and requirements gathering process for new websites and clients
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients to assess their needs
  • Conduct heuristic evaluations and provide recommendations based on best practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams to incorporate insights from strategy, SEO, and development teams
  • Create wireframes, flow diagrams, sitemaps, and high-fidelity prototypes

Requirements

  • 3 – 5+ years of professional working experience as a UX specialist at an agency
  • Examples of wireframes and prototypes completed for mobile and desktop experiences
  • Working knowledge of how website development works
  • Comfortable working within tight timelines and juggling multiple clients in different industries
