The Product Designer will work on the Apple Creator Studio team to design elegant experiences for consumer applications. This includes collaborating with design, engineering, marketing, and QA teams to develop innovative features through thoughtful interaction and visual design.
Responsibilities
- Working alongside partners in design, engineering, marketing, and QA to craft and develop innovative features through thoughtful interaction design and nuanced visual design
- Designing elegant experiences for consumer applications that are workflow-driven, deep, and complex
- Producing comprehensive, precise deliverables under tight deadlines while balancing input from cross-functional stakeholders
- Navigating rapid change and ambiguity
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- 4+ years of work experience with a focus on product design and UI across a variety of platforms like iOS, macOS, web, and others
- Experience in shipping digital products from start to finish including the documentation and development process
- Ability to clearly communicate concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high-fidelity comps, and presentations
- Highly skilled and fast in any tools you need to visualize your ideas and deliver the work
- Enthusiasm and history working in an iterative design process, motivated by group critique
- Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present work to large groups and executives
- Expertise in Sketch
- Knowledgable in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Knowledgable in the elements, principles, and history of graphic design
