Responsibilities
- Craft exceptional developer experiences, designing intuitive and efficient workflows
- Enhance workflows with AI where appropriate, identifying opportunities for transformation
- Prototype solutions using preferred tools to communicate concepts and vision
- Own the end-to-end process, driving design from problem definition to final implementation
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define problems, prioritize, and shape success metrics
- Understand and advocate for developers, researching workflows and pain points
- Balance technical and user needs, finding the sweet spot between constraints and user needs
- Translate complexity into clarity, simplifying technical concepts into intuitive interfaces
- Iterate based on feedback, refining designs through usability testing and metrics
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience with a focus on complex workflows, products, or systems
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating complex challenges and meaningful outcomes
- Technical understanding of how developers work and think
- Technical domain knowledge, ideally in developer tools, technical products, or similar domains
- Clear presentation of ideas, both technical and non-technical
- Adaptable designer who thrives in evolving environments
