Product Designer

The Product Designer will design flows, interactions, and interfaces for SCRL’s editor and creation tools, focusing on clarity and structure. They will work closely with engineers and product owners to ensure the final product meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing flows, interactions and interfaces for SCRL's editor and creation tools
• Bringing clarity and structure to messy, open-ended problems through thoughtful UI
• Defining states, edge cases and interaction behavior, not just happy paths
• Working closely with engineers and product owners to get details right in the final product
• Exploring, iterating and documenting solutions in Figma, Notion and Linear
• Helping evolve our design system as the product grows
• Raising the bar for clarity, consistency and visual quality across the app and company

Requirements

• 3-4 years experience designing digital products
• Strong visual design skills and a clear sense of taste
• Solid UX fundamentals and the ability to think in systems, not just screens
• Comfortable working end-to-end in Figma
• Collaboration skills, with experience working with engineers and enjoying sweating the details together
• Portfolio that shows care, polish and thoughtful execution
