The Senior UX Designer will lead user experience design across web and mobile applications, focusing on improving usability and consistency. They will collaborate with engineering, product, and QA teams to advocate for user-centered thinking throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Propose clear and compelling designs with sound rationale addressing identified problems and opportunities
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences for complex web and mobile applications
- Create and maintain user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Establish, evolve, and document consistent UX patterns and guidelines across applications
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, scalable, and accurately implemented
- Work with product and business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into clear UX solutions
- Review existing applications and identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and consistency
- Participate in design reviews and provide UX guidance during development and QA phases
- Iterate quickly to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in design decisions
- Advocate for UX best practices and contribute to improving design maturity across teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking, problem-solving, and end-to-end design execution
- Proven experience leading the design of web-based applications, preferably complex or data-heavy systems
- Solid understanding of usability principles, information architecture, and interaction design
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Ability to perform independent research and tie the results and judgments to design decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in UX writing (microcopy)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
