
UX Designer 2 - Store Operations (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

The UX Designer 2 will independently design features and experiences within Store Operations, balancing user needs with business requirements while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve store inventory accuracy. Key duties include owning the end-to-end design process, conducting user research, creating design deliverables, and contributing to the design system evolution.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design process for features from concept through implementation
- Conduct user research activities and translate insights into design decisions
- Create comprehensive design deliverables including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and scope
- Contribute to design system evolution and establish new patterns when needed
- Articulate design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders, connecting user-centered rationale to business outcomes
- Uphold design quality within the squad by reviewing peer and AI-assisted work against craft standards and providing actionable feedback
- Mentor junior designers and provide design feedback
Requirements
- 2-3 years of UX/UI design experience with proven track record of shipping products
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating problem-solving approach and design process
- Experience with incorporating user research to make data-driven design decisions
- Proficiency in design tools and prototyping techniques
- Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in agile development environments
