The Product Designer will conduct user research to understand user needs and collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve user and business problems. They will ensure usability is prioritized in product decision-making and contribute to the design system.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research (qualitative and quantitative) to deeply understand needs and behaviours of our users
- Collaborate with a Product Manager and Engineers in a team
- Build a deep understanding of our users and their specific needs through qualitative and quantitative research
- Be an active participant in the product design team’s continuous effort of consolidating our UI & UX design system
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience, ideally working on complex data rich application(s)
- Familiar with leading and/or contributing to a Design System or reusable component library
- Has been involved in a variety of projects, ensuring the integrity of design, UI and championing user-centred design principles
Key Skills
- Strong proficiency in Figma is essential, with advanced usage for design system management highly desirable
- Following a mature design process to dig deep in finding the core problems and validating them before jumping into UI work
