Lead a high-performance engineering team and manage the Silicon Engineering group. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to innovate and meet IP delivery schedule commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performance engineering team
- Form a team and nurture talent
- Meet IP delivery schedule commitments, and provide strong support to SOC
- Collaborate with multi-functional leaders to drive AMD's success
Requirements
- Experience leading others in technical and managerial settings
- Managerial experience in ASIC/SOC design and verification
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills
- Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams
- Prior experience in silicon IP design and verification
- Strong communications skills
- Fluent in English
- PhD/ MSEE or BSEE degree in digital ASIC/SOC design and verification
Key Skills
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze current behavior, identify potential areas for improvement, and design experiments
- Knowledge of X86/ARM/8051 architecture, AMBA(AXI/AHB/APB) bus, PCIe protocol
