Electronic Design Engineering, Senior

The Senior Electronic Design Engineer will design, draft, and test high-speed optical and electrical interface products while collaborating with cross-functional teams. They are responsible for managing design activities, analyzing simulation data, and facilitating the transfer of products to production.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and support broadband high-speed optical/electrical interface products
- Utilize specialized in-depth knowledge to develop, design, and support new products, devices, circuits, and/or systems
- Function as a resource to develop team atmosphere together with our transistor designers, our application, and device engineering teams
- Provide clear status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing simulation/test data
- Work with our chip leads to enable Product Engineering group to transfer products to production
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Electronics Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of Analog/RF IC design experience
- In-depth understanding of a variety of Analog/RF/mmWave circuits and systems
- Strong ability to propose creative solutions at IP level
- Fluent with relevant electronics simulation tools, software, (Cadence, ADS) and test equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, etc.)
- Awareness with integration and experience designing for high yield and low cost
- Specialized knowledge of the operation and calibration of industry standard test equipment
- Experience with the design of evaluation boards including both electrical and thermal aspects
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
