The UI/UX Designer will create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces while conducting user research and usability testing to enhance user experiences. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX into gameplay and product features.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototype Development: Create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces, including menus, HUDs, and inventories.
- User Experience Research & Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and player feedback sessions to understand user needs, improve intuitiveness, and continuously refine designs.
- Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Explore multiple design approaches, rapidly prototype solutions, and iterate based on real-time feedback to deliver optimal UI/UX outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with game developers, product managers, and creative teams to ensure seamless UI/UX integration into gameplay and product features.
- Branding & Visual Aesthetics: Maintain visual consistency across all design elements, ensuring alignment with Ingame Sports’ brand identity while incorporating modern visuals, animations, and effects.
- Usability & Accessibility: Apply industry best practices to enhance usability, optimize layouts for different devices, and implement accessibility features to support a diverse user base.
- Quality Assurance & Optimization: Review UI/UX components regularly to ensure responsiveness, performance efficiency, and bug-free user experiences.
- Documentation & Industry Trends: Maintain design systems, style guides, and documentation while staying up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies in gaming and digital sports experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer (gaming, sports, or interactive products is a plus)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX thinking, visual design, and prototyping
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
- Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Zamalek, Cairo
