This role involves leading user research, interaction design, and usability evaluation across digital and offline experiences to shape user behaviors and define experience requirements. Key duties include identifying user needs, leading iterative design processes, designing interactions, and refining designs based on user-centered evaluation and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Identify user behaviors, needs, motivations, and accessibility requirements
- Lead iterative design processes to improve usability and accessibility of systems, products, and services
- Design digital and offline tasks, interactions, and interfaces aligned with user and organizational needs
- Refine designs using user-centered evaluation and feedback, communicating outcomes clearly to development and implementation teams
- Determine approaches for encouraging user engagement in research and identifying opportunities for innovation
- Collect and analyze user-related data; synthesize findings into insights, reports, and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
- 4-6 years of experience designing UI/UX for interactive media, software, web, or mobile applications
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical, regulated, or similar industry
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise
- Fluency in best practices for mobile and web information architecture
- Strong knowledge of usability principles and methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Understanding of web applications, technologies, and programming skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
