UX Designer, Customer Strategy Department - Platform Strategy Supervisory Department (CSD)

The UX Designer will conduct UX design for products and services within the Rakuten Ecosystem, collaborating with various team members to enhance service value. They will also conduct user research and create prototypes to validate value propositions and usability.
Responsibilities
- Conduct UX design for products and services within the Rakuten Ecosystem
- Define value propositions and concepts based on business and user needs during strategy phases
- Create wireframes and mockups that embody the defined concept
- Collaborate with directors, designers, and engineers to design products and services
- Identify opportunities and issues within the UX domain
- Conduct user research and extract meaningful insights
- Create prototypes to validate value propositions and usability, and to facilitate team communication and decision-making
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UX design or direction for web services
- Experience in persona development, scenario design, and extracting user needs based on research
- Knowledge of and practical experience with Human-Centered Design (HCD)
- Experience identifying issues and validating hypotheses through user interviews and usability testing
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC
- Business-level Japanese
