Lead UX Designer
Here Technologies 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
This role will lead user experience designs, design systems, and improve design quality and execution for key driver-facing mobile applications. The Lead UX Designer will define design standards, ensure scalable experiences across mobile platforms, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve UX patterns and components.
Responsibilities
- Shape the user experience and design system powering our next generation driver-facing mobile applications
- Define design standards and ensure scalable, high-quality experiences across mobile platforms
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, customers, and implementation teams to improve UX patterns, components, and overall product experience
- Guide the end-to-end UX process, including research, workshops, UX/UI design, prototyping, and usability testing
- Champion efficient design workflows, Figma best practices, and scalable system architecture across UX teams
- Empower teams with resources, documentation, and mentorship around design standards and system usage
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience designing user experiences for customer-facing mobile applications
- Technical mindset with a strong appreciation for data, research, and inclusive design practices
- Strong background in visual design, design systems, UX, interaction design, research, and documentation for scalable enterprise platforms
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills, able to align design decisions with business and user needs
- Experience working in international, distributed teams and navigating complex B2B and B2C environments
- Fluency in spoken and written English
