Senior UX Designer

The Senior UX Designer will independently drive UX design for connected app experiences across the full product lifecycle for iOS and Android. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights into user-centered solutions while contributing to the company's design system.
Responsibilities
- Own UX design for assigned features and product areas within the Shark and Ninja connected app ecosystem
- Translate consumer insights and user research into user-centered design solutions
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to conceptualize and refine app experiences
- Build interactive prototypes to test concepts, gather user feedback, and communicate design intent
- Define the look and feel of accessible app experiences, including interface elements, color schemes, typography, and iconography
- Deliver well-documented final UX specs and assets, partnering with sprint-based development teams
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in UX design for mobile experiences on iOS and Android
- Ability to work with considerable independence on complex design problems
- Experience with physical/connected hardware products is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of UX best practices, interaction design principles, and mobile design guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain high quality while working quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
