Staff Product Designer, Design Systems

The Staff Product Designer will lead the definition and design of the design system, ensuring it empowers product teams to deliver high-quality experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product designs with business objectives and user requirements.
Responsibilities
- Define system strategy and architecture
- Create performant UI components, token strategies, scalable patterns
- Ensure parity between design environments and production code
- Deliver accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA+)
- Partner with cross-functional partner teams to ensure product designs align with business objectives and user requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in product design
- Passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences
- Proficiency in design (primarily Figma), prototyping tools, and design system tooling
- Strong understanding and proven experience of user-centered design principles
Key Skills
- Proficiency in design (primarily Figma), prototyping tools, and design system tooling
- Expertise in component architecture, design tokens, platform guidelines (iOS, Android), and accessibility standards
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Strong understanding and proven experience of user-centered design principles
