Senior Product Designer

Lead product design for complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple squads and shape the design strategy for the product area by identifying the right problems to solve. Set craft standards through design reviews and mentorship while contributing to and evolving the company's design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead product design for complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple squads or product areas
- Shape design strategy for your product area: identify the right problems to solve, not just the right solutions
- Set craft standards for the team through design reviews, critique sessions, and direct mentorship of junior designers
- Contribute to and evolve PropertyGuru’s design system (HIVE) with new patterns, components, and guidelines that others can reuse
- Drive cross-functional alignment on design decisions, working closely with PMs, engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional product workshops to facilitate discovery, product scoping, and delivery planning
- Connect design decisions to business outcomes using data: set up tracking events, review analytics, and measure the impact of shipped work
- Produce information architecture, user journeys, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for high-complexity features
Requirements
- Typically 4 - 8 years of experience designing and launching digital products across platforms
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Track record of shipped products with documented impact
- Experience mentoring or leading other designers
- Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders with competing priorities and navigate ambiguity without waiting for direction
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools with strong design system awareness
- Experience with data tools to inform and validate design decisions
- Strong communication skills: can explain complex design rationale to non-design stakeholders clearly
