The Lead UX/UI Designer will create user-centered designs for digital banking products through user research and collaboration with stakeholders. They will also design intuitive interfaces and maintain brand consistency across digital platforms.
Responsibilities
- Execution of user research and usability tests to understand customer needs, pain points, and integrate feedback and preferences to banking products and services.
- Creation of intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for digital banking platforms and applications for a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Design and maintenance of visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with the bank's brand identity and design guidelines across digital products.
Requirements
- Proven prior experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
- User Research: Conducting research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points to inform design decisions.
- Prototyping & Interaction Design: Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise and test design concepts.
- Visual Design: Applying principles of colour theory, typography, responsive design, and layout, while adhering to accessibility standards and guidelines.
Key Skills
- Essential skills required to carry out the role of a Lead UX/UI Designer include but are not limited to: Proven prior experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant design work.
- User Research: Conducting research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points to inform design decisions.
- Prototyping & Interaction Design: Creating wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualise and test design concepts.
