The UX Designer will conduct user research to understand user needs and create wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts. They will collaborate with product and development teams to ensure the designed experience aligns with product strategy and is technically feasible.
Responsibilities
- Conducting user research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviours of the target audience
- Defining the behaviour and functionality of interactive elements, such as buttons, menus, forms, and other user interface components
- Creating low to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts, interactions, and user flows
- Collaborate with product team and development team to ensure that the designed experience aligns to product strategy and is technically feasible
- Mapping out the steps that users will take to accomplish specific tasks or goals within the digital product
- Designing subtle and delightful micro interactions that provide feedback, guide users, and enhance the overall user experience
- Conducting usability testing sessions to observe how users interact with the product and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Ensuring that the interactive elements and user interface are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities
- Contributing to the creation and maintenance of design pattern libraries and design systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience of working as a Designer
- A strong portfolio that showcases a variety of projects and demonstrates your problem-solving abilities
- A deep understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies
- Proficient in conducting various user research techniques, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user persona creation
- Proficient in using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or other prototyping tools
- Possess a good understanding of visual design principles, including layout, colour theory, typography, and iconography
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
