Senior Manager, Hardware Design Engineering

Leads cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality hardware products by integrating feedback from manufacturing, supply chain, and reliability teams. Directs the development of complex electrical and mechanical systems from initial research through to manufacturing lifecycle support.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
- Participate in project planning and scheduling
- Serve as a technical expert and leader to the team
- Engage with customers and suppliers on product roadmaps and support
- Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications and may act as primary customer contact
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
- Develop and lead the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts
Requirements
- 10+ years of HW product development experience
- 4+ years of managerial/leadership experience
- Proficient in all compute hardware architectures
- Strong understanding of compute components and protocols
- Experience in rack level system design
- Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized, self-motivated person, strong customer service, project, and analytical skills
