Product Designer
Lightyear Remote (🇺🇸 New York, New York, United States of America)
The role involves shipping end-to-end product features and refining the design system in Figma and the codebase. Additionally, the designer will provide marketing support for web updates, ad creatives, and brand assets.
Responsibilities
- Ship product features end-to-end across established product areas, partnering with PMs and engineers from brief to launch
- Run design reviews, give and receive critique, and iterate fast based on feedback from customers, PMs, and engineering
- Contribute to and refine our design system in Figma, and open PRs directly in our codebase for design system updates
- Flex into marketing design as needed: marketing site updates, LinkedIn and Reddit ad creative, slide deck templates, event collateral, and asset creation in support of internal teams
- Use AI tooling to accelerate ideation, research, prototyping, and asset creation across both product and marketing work
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional product design experience
- B2B SaaS background
- Fintech, devtools, vertical SaaS, or other workflow-heavy enterprise products are all strong fits
- Mostly 1-to-N experience with at least some 0-to-1 work in your portfolio
- Visual range across product and brand
- AI is already part of how you work, not a thing you're planning to try
- Code-fluent collaboration

- Curious and stays at the edge of the field without chasing trends
