The Lead Product Designer will drive the design vision for complex products while mentoring junior designers and leading client engagements. They are responsible for creating intuitive designs, conducting user research, and establishing scalable design systems.
Responsibilities
- Designing interactive and complex products by deeply understanding workflows and user use cases
- Creating intuitive, high-quality designs that enhance information comprehension and reduce cognitive load
- Leading user research initiatives and translating insights into impactful design decisions
- Developing user personas, storyboards, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively
- Rapidly prototyping ideas using tools like Figma, Figma Make, Lovable, etc.
- Driving design discussions with senior stakeholders through discovery sessions, presentations, and pitches
- Acting as the face of the design team in client engagements and internal forums
- Mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering a strong design culture and quality standards
- Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Contributing to pre-sales activities, including solutioning and proposal design inputs
- Establishing and maintaining scalable design systems and ensuring consistency across products
- Continuously iterating designs based on feedback, balancing user needs with business goals
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio across B2B and B2C products
- Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring designers
- Strong proficiency in Figma and modern AI-assisted tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence in client-facing roles
- Strong grasp of user-centered design principles and systems thinking
- Ability to think strategically, act quickly, and translate ideas into tangible outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
