UX Designer

You will lead design delivery across product teams, conducting user research and creating cohesive, human-centered experiences. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product partners to validate ideas through prototyping and ensure high-quality, accessible design execution.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of design delivery within your product area
- Work closely with your squad to create meaningful and cohesive user experiences
- Collaborate with product and engineering partners, balancing user needs with business goals
- Seek and give feedback regularly, contributing to maintaining quality across the team
- Connect your work to broader user journeys and build confidence in communicating the value of design decisions
- Conduct Research: Create research plans and conduct usability tests to validate design solutions with real users
- Synthesize Insights: Synthesize research findings into actionable insights and clearly articulate user problems to your product team
- Build an understanding of your product area, user needs, and business context
- Apply design processes (like the Triple Diamond) and know when to adapt them to meet project deadlines
- Use prototypes to validate or disprove ideas quickly, exploring directions through user testing
- Create clean, logical, and accessible designs that follow usability best practices
- Ensure UI accessibility through color contrast, clear typography, and distinct interactive states
- Produce thorough and complete work, with edge cases fully thought out
- Write clear and concise UX copy
- Communicate interactions and handoff details clearly to engineers, helping bridge the gap between design and development
- Proactively seek feedback from relevant designers throughout your design process
- Contribute positively to the team culture, learning from feedback and modeling our values
Requirements
- Middle-weight UX/ Product Designer with a solid understanding of full-cycle user-centred design (Research, UX & UI)
- Best-in-class design, wireframe (low and high fidelity) and prototyping skills
- Solid experience of using Figma
- Focuses on delivering work that contributes to team and business goals
- Effectively collaborates with Product and Engineering teams to deliver work on time and in scope
- Able to clearly demonstrate your process, methodology and approach to UX design strategy
- Independently drives projects and tasks to completion
- Experience of working with customer acquisition journeys in high volume, consumer services domains
- Balances design decisions based on user and business needs
