The Principal UX Designer will own and drive the end-to-end UX strategy for key infrastructure products, setting standards for design quality and innovation. This role involves partnering with product managers and engineers to define product direction while leading and mentoring other designers.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end UX strategy for multiple key infrastructure products
- Partner with product managers and engineers to define product direction, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals
- Lead and mentor designers, setting best practices in UX, interaction design, and design systems
- Use Figma to design, prototype, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in real time
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure smooth implementation of designs
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Graphic Design, or Product Design
- Equivalent professional experience, typically 6-8 years in UX/product design, including 2–3 years in a senior or principal-level role
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design
- Solid understanding of front-end development practices; Hands-on coding ability in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
