Design clear and scalable user experiences for clinicians across product, commercial, and platform initiatives. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to take features from concept to implementation while maintaining the design system.
Responsibilities
- Design features that improve how clinicians discover, use, and return to MDCalc
- Contribute UX thinking early in the product process
- Support the design of commercial-facing surfaces
- Contribute to and maintain MDCalc's design system
- Partner with Engineering to close the gap between design specs and implementation
- Participate in user research sessions
- Use behavioral data and usability feedback to identify friction and drive iteration post-launch
Requirements
- 3–5 years of UX design experience
- Strong interaction design and visual design skills
- Experience contributing to or working within a design system
- Comfortable operating across multiple product areas and workstreams simultaneously
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating directly with Engineers and Product Managers in an agile environment
