Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will lead design for the Value Discovery team, focusing on creating in-product guidance and evaluation environments to help high-value customers realize Asana's potential before payment. This involves designing intuitive journeys that leverage AI to translate user intent into clear starting points for new users.
Responsibilities
- Design Value Discovery Systems: architect the infrastructure and in-product guidance that helps users discover 'the next best action'
- Execute New Offerings: lead the design execution for key customer segments, building capabilities that serve a client's revenue needs end-to-end
- Scale Expansion via 'Low-Friction' Testing: develop sophisticated ways for Enterprise leads to test-drive complex configurations
- Bridge LLM Discovery & Product Value: shape how users encounter and evaluate Asana through conversational AI interfaces
- Synthesize Insight into Design: use a mix of product telemetry, UXR, and customer feedback to identify why accounts become 'unhealthy'
- Contribute to Design Excellence: partner with the broader Asana Design community to evolve design patterns and principles
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of product design experience, with a proven track record leading difficult, ambitious, and ambiguous initiatives in B2B SaaS or complex consumer products
- Experienced Design Leader: strong portfolio demonstrating ownership of onboarding, activation, or growth-related experiences
- Strategic Distiller: able to make the complex simple, creating and evangelizing design visions that inspire both your team and company-wide stakeholders
- Data-Informed & Hypothesis-Driven: fluency using research and data to inform design decisions
- AI-Curious: demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies
- Tenacious & Collaborative: tackles complex problems with little coaching and works closely with PMs, engineers, and data partners
