Senior, UI/UX Designer - EG, Remote: Colombia - Costa Rica, Fulltime, Digital Product Development
The Senior UI/UX Designer will gather user requirements, create visual designs, and develop prototypes while collaborating with an Agile team. They will also articulate design decisions and ensure alignment with the product vision.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements to create visual designs, prototypes, and build navigation components
- Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, sitemaps, mock-ups, user maps, and prototypes to effectively communicate and articulate complex ideas
- Create and scale design systems to make a clean and consistent experience using design best practices
- Participate in agile ceremonies to collaborate, ship, and improve products
- Articulate design decisions to a variety of audiences, including tech leads, clients, and project owners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
- Online portfolio of work to review with best-in-class work and inspiring projects
- Knowledge of prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Advanced at articulating complex ideas and documenting them
- Deep understanding of mobile-first and/or responsive design
- Experience working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap and Material Design
