The UX Designer will lead design projects from discovery to implementation, collaborating closely with internal teams to understand their workflows and challenges. They will also contribute to the design system and advocate for user experience across the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Projects: Own end-to-end design delivery, from discovery and research through to implementation.
- Immerse Yourself in the User Environment: Spend time with internal teams to understand their day-to-day processes, pain points, and successes.
- Create Wireframes & Prototypes: Translate ideas into tangible design assets (prototyping experience is beneficial but not essential).
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage Iterative Design: Use feedback and data to refine solutions and improve usability.
- Contribute to Design Systems: Help to build, maintain, and evolve the design system for consistency and accessibility.
- Champion UX Research: Liaise with the research team and set up user testing sessions to validate ideas.
- Advocate for UX: Share insights through blogs, workshops, and proactive engagement across the business.
- Contribute to Team Culture: Take part in weekly/monthly show and tells and critique sessions, and collaborate with junior team members.
Requirements
- 2–3 years in a UX role (agency or in-house)
- Expertise in User-Centred Design principles
- Knowledge of visual design principles and accessibility standards
- Awareness of current UX/UI trends
