The role involves leading visual UX design for Alexa mobile and AI experiences, driving product vision from concept to final delivery. You will collaborate with engineering teams and senior leadership to set standards for design excellence and advocate for user-centric solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype visually compelling UI designs from concept to customers’ hands
  • Coach others and facilitate collaborative sessions like brainstorms and workshops
  • Innovate and set standards for design excellence, thinking holistically about the 'why' of all that we ship
  • Advocate for design solutions by putting them in context of business and customer goals
  • Present to internal teams and senior leadership
  • Translate a vision into concise deliverables and hands-on building with engineering teams

Requirements

  • 7+ years of design experience
  • Available online portfolio
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
  • Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
  • Experience designing in an agile development environment
  • Experience crafting design concepts that inform the future vision for a digital product
