Deliver user-centered design solutions for web and software applications while ensuring consistency in visual design and interaction patterns. Collaborate in agile environments to refine designs quickly and present concepts to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver user-centered design solutions for web and software applications
- Translate business and functional requirements into intuitive, usable interfaces
- Create wireframes, prototypes, interaction flows, and visual design mockups
- Ensure consistency in visual design, interaction patterns, and content architecture
- Identify usability issues and propose design improvements
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Conduct heuristic evaluations of websites and applications
- Collaborate in agile, iterative environments to refine designs quickly
- Communicate usability principles to technical and non-technical teams
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Web Design, or related field
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
- Masters degree in a related field (preferred)
- UX certifications: HFI, Nielsen Norman Group, UX Bootcamp (preferred)
Key Skills
- Strong visual design skills and ability to explain design rationale
- Proficiency in Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision
- Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and mapping tools
- Knowledge of user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design
- Understanding of accessibility standards and UX best practices
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Ability to work directly with clients in agile, iterative environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Experience resolving cross-browser and cross-platform UI issues
