As an Expert UX Designer, you will be responsible for the design of custom software projects, ensuring an outstanding user experience from kickoff to go-live. You will lead projects through all design phases and collaborate closely with your project team.
Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the successful implementation of software projects in terms of user experience design, including user interface design, always keeping the needs of the users in mind.
- You lead projects through all design phases and also work internally at Zeilenwerk for sensibly applied UX design.
- You are familiar with human-centered design and have experience with user-centered design methods.
- You have design lead in medium and large projects, work closely with your project team, and can clearly articulate the framework conditions you need to successfully implement the design.
- You lead workshops with customers and feel safe and comfortable with presentations.
- You also enjoy representative tasks, speak well and gladly in front of people in professional contexts.', "You engage internally in our design community of practice and optionally in the entire organization - in roles you choose.
- You work towards a productive coexistence and support the business development team with your expertise in tenders.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a design lead for web or software projects (preferably agile)
- In-depth understanding of human-centered and user-centered design and corresponding methods
- In-depth understanding of user interface design for software and web applications
- Experience with creating, managing, and adapting design systems for software and web applications
- Expertise in handling design and collaboration tools
- Knowledge in the field of accessibility
- Experience in guiding design employees
- Experience in collaboration with developers, product owners, and Scrum masters
- Good communication skills and good sense of interpersonal dynamics
- Strong reflective ability and quick comprehension
- Experience with self-organized organizations
- Good German and English language skills (negotiation-secure in writing and speech, C1 or higher)
