You will own and design an AI-ready design system to ensure consistency and quality across Goodreads' mobile and web platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer insights into exceptional product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the design system to support web and mobile experiences
• Create flows, wireframes, mockups, and rapid prototypes
• Partner with product, engineering, and research teams to define system requirements
• Conduct user research and evaluative studies to inform design decisions
• Advocate for design through presentations and cross‑functional collaboration
• Provide feedback to other designers and raise quality standards
• Maintain design libraries and tooling, educate teammates on best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end user‑centered design solutions
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools
• Experience designing and prototyping interactive UI
• Strong visual design skills and ability to create style guides
• Excellent written and verbal communication
