Senior Design Manager

Lead and coordinate the multidisciplinary design process from pre-construction through completion, ensuring design information is coordinated, compliant, buildable, and aligned with programme, cost, and quality requirements. Collaborate with clients, clinical stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams to resolve technical issues, manage design risks and changes, and support quality assurance, commissioning, and handover.

Requirements
- Candidates should have proven design management experience with a Tier One contractor or in a similarly complex construction environment, ideally delivering large-scale hospital or healthcare projects. They should bring strong architectural, structural, and building services coordination knowledge, familiarity with UK regulations and healthcare standards, and the leadership, communication, programme, procurement, and buildability skills needed to drive design delivery.
