Lead end-to-end design for internal tools and systems, from discovery and problem definition through concept validation, interface design, and implementation support. Collaborate with business teams, consultants, experience design, data, and technology, while developing reusable design system components and ensuring the quality of delivered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct discovery activities to understand users, contexts and business needs
- Transform findings into opportunities, concepts, flows and prototypes
- Validate hypotheses via user testing and data analysis
- Design detailed interfaces for internal tools and systems
- Document behaviors, rules and usage scenarios
- Create, apply and evolve design‑system components and patterns
- Prepare specifications and handoff designs to development
- Support technology teams during implementation and ensure solution quality
- Collaborate continuously with business, consulting, experience design, data and technology areas
Requirements
- Proficiency in user‑centered design processes (discovery, ideation, prototyping, validation)
- Ability to structure problems and translate evidence into solutions
- Experience with user research, interviews, usability testing and workshop facilitation
- Strong skills in information architecture, flow design and interface design
- Figma expertise
- Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries
- Familiarity with software development processes
- Critical thinking and synthesis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
- Autonomy in ambiguous problem spaces
