Mechanical Product Design Engineering Intern

Support the design, development, integration, validation, and launch of engine and powertrain systems for Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicle products. Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, packaging studies, installation diagrams, and engineering documentation while coordinating with other design teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or have graduated within one year of the internship start date. Candidates should have an interest in automotive or trucking, CAD experience, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks and work through ambiguity and change.
