Mechanical Product Design Engineering Intern

Design, develop, and support the launch of engine integrations and powertrain systems for Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicle products, including emissions-compliant solutions. Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation; select appropriate materials and production methods; and collaborate across design teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or have graduated within one year of the internship start date. Candidates should have an interest in automotive or trucking, CAD experience, strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to ambiguity and change.
