Design Systems Engineer – FWD AT, CVT & Hybrid Transmissions

Manage the integration, interfaces, and system balance of transmission and driveline components, coordinating design reviews, validation, prototype builds, suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams. Lead design risk reviews, BOM and build readiness activities, cost-reduction initiatives, change control, lessons learned, and issue follow-up while keeping the Chief Engineer informed.

Lead design risk reviews, BOM and build readiness activities, cost-reduction initiatives, change control, lessons learned, and issue follow-up while keeping the Chief Engineer informed.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, at least seven years of product development design and release experience, including at least two years in propulsion systems, and experience leading collaborative global teams. Candidates should understand automotive manufacturing and quality processes, have advanced English skills and Microsoft Office proficiency, and demonstrate strong organization, communication, and work ethic; a master’s degree is preferred.
