Senior Design Manager

Lead multidisciplinary detailed design teams on major water and wastewater programmes, coordinating engineering and construction disciplines to deliver safe, buildable designs ready for construction and commissioning. Own design scope, programme, interfaces, assurance and change while strengthening client relationships, developing teams, and improving value, standardisation and whole-life performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary detailed design teams on major water and wastewater programmes, coordinating engineering and construction disciplines to deliver safe, buildable designs ready for construction and commissioning. Own design scope, programme, interfaces, assurance and change while strengthening client relationships, developing teams, and improving value, standardisation and whole-life performance.
Requirements
- Candidates should bring technical leadership in the design and project management of large-scale infrastructure programmes, experience integrating multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams, and knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts, change control and CDM processes. They should also demonstrate strong communication, autonomous judgement, problem-solving, innovation and the ability to foster successful teams.
