Design Systems Engineer - HD Truck Driveline, Axles and 4WD systems

Own the architecture and integration of axle, driveline, transfer case, gear reducer, and 4WD systems, coordinating interfaces across vehicle engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and validation teams. Lead design reviews, validation readiness, risk and quality management, engineering changes, cost optimization, and program execution from concept through launch.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and integration of axle, driveline, transfer case, gear reducer, and 4WD systems, coordinating interfaces across vehicle engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and validation teams. Lead design reviews, validation readiness, risk and quality management, engineering changes, cost optimization, and program execution from concept through launch.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least eight years of relevant experience, including at least five years in automotive engineering and/or geared systems, are required. A master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and at least ten years of transmission and/or driveline engineering experience are preferred; knowledge of Stellantis engineering systems is also preferred.
