Substation Design Engineering Intern (Fall/Winter)

Support substation engineering and design projects, including one-line diagrams, layouts, basic calculations, drawing updates, design packages, and standards documentation. Assist with budget estimates, NERC compliance activities, design reviews, project data analysis, and preparation and documentation for limited site visits.

Requirements
- Applicants must be sophomores or juniors enrolled in an ABET-accredited electrical engineering program and be proficient in Microsoft Office. They must communicate effectively, be self-motivated, have good mechanical aptitude, work well with others, and be available 10–20 hours per week during the academic year and 40 hours per week during school breaks; coursework in power transmission and distribution and an interest in the power industry are preferred.
