You will own complex visual design projects end-to-end, from initial research and concept development through to final delivery. You will also partner with cross-functional teams to develop design strategies and ensure coherence across the Amazon Music product suite.
Responsibilities
- Own complex visual design projects end‑to‑end from research to delivery
- Develop high‑level customer experience strategy and clarify design decisions
- Partner with other designers to elevate craft and raise quality across Amazon Music
- Develop and refine visual design, IA, and interaction patterns for coherence across surfaces
- Contribute to and evolve a central design system for touch, mouse, keyboard, and remote features
- Work with cross‑functional teams (product, engineering, research, data, conversation design) to define requirements and optimize experiences
- Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Manage own work queue, timeline, and trade‑offs
Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience
- Online portfolio
- 5+ years of UX or interaction design experience
- Experience designing complex workflows
- Degree in UX Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Cognitive Psychology, HCI, or related field
- Background across multi‑platform experiences (mobile, web, desktop, auto, TV, wearables)
- Some motion experience (Figma and/or After Effects, AI)
