Product Designer / Design Engineer (w/m/d)

You will lead end-to-end product design for a B2B SaaS platform, bridging the gap between UX concepts and technical implementation. This includes developing information architectures, managing design systems, and integrating AI-driven workflows into the product development process.
Responsibilities
- Develop information architectures, user flows, and UI concepts for complex B2BâSaaS workflows, forms, tables, dashboards and configuration screens
- Prototype and rapidly validate design solutions, reviewing technical implementation and iterating as needed
- Create and maintain component libraries, design tokens, and reusable patterns, ensuring consistency across products
- Bridge design tools with frontend components for direct handâoff and technical feasibility checks
- Document design specifications, interaction patterns, and component states within the design system
- Integrate AIânative design workflows, leveraging AI to support the entire product development cycle
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams including product, engineering, and AI specialists to ensure seamless delivery
- Maintain high quality standards and advocate for userâcentered design throughout the development process
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, or Design Engineering for complex B2BâSaaS or enterprise products
- Proficiency with componentâbased UI design, design systems, design tokens and component libraries
- Experience creating complex user flows, information architectures, and dataâintensive interfaces
- Handsâon knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic React, with familiarity of Storybook or similar tools
- Experience with AIâassisted development processes and agentâbased workflows
- Ability to translate designs into productionâready components and collaborate closely with frontend developers
- Fluent German and English communication skills
