Sr. Design Technologist, AWS Search, Security, Observability, Governance

The role involves building high-fidelity, interactive prototypes in code to test new patterns and experiences within the Delight Lab. You will also partner with designers and engineers to codify these patterns into reusable intelligence and improve front-end craft across the team.

Responsibilities

• Build high‑fidelity interactive prototypes in real code for rapid customer testing
• Partner with designers to turn ambiguous design ambition into working systems
• Extend DesignBrain by codifying patterns and evidence‑cited intelligence
• Raise quality and velocity of the front‑end experience layer with reusable components and tooling
• Prototype new interaction patterns for agentic and AI‑native surfaces
• Collaborate daily with design, product and engineering to translate feasibility early
• Instrument prototypes for data collection and feed findings back into the flywheel
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and reusable pattern creation

Requirements

• 6+ years of front‑end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper experience
• Portfolio of coding samples
• Experience developing visually polished, fluid UX prototypes
• Experience collaborating with UX, product and technical partners
