Sr. Product Designer, AWS Search, Security, Observability, Governance

You will own the end-to-end design for agentic security surfaces, defining how customers grant autonomy to AI agents and verify their actions. You will set the design vision and pattern language for security in an agentic world, partnering with engineering and science teams to build trust through evidence.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design for agentic security surfaces, from research to launch
• Define how trust is earned in the interface, including autonomy granting, reasoning visualization, verification and intervention
• Set design vision and pattern language for autonomy in security and communicate it to partners
• Partner daily with product, engineering and science to balance customer needs, technical constraints and safety requirements
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals, run research and validate designs with security practitioners
• Translate dense security and agentic concepts into clear interfaces that reduce cognitive load
• Raise design bar through critique, mentorship and reusable patterns

Requirements

• 7+ years of design experience
• Available online portfolio
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools
