Staff Product Designer - Design Core

You will own the design for the Home platform and new initiatives while setting the strategic direction across the company. You will act as a key partner to product and engineering leads to define roadmaps and mentor senior designers.

Responsibilities

• Own design for the Home experience and a new platform‑wide initiative
• Set design direction proactively and adapt to shifting priorities
• Collaborate with teams across sales, risk, compliance, and engineering
• Partner with product and engineering leads to define roadmap, scope, and timing
• Maintain coherence and consistency across multiple product domains
• Mentor senior designers and contribute to hiring processes
• Rapidly switch context, solve problems, and make independent decisions
• Iterate quickly, ship features, and continuously improve designs
• Leverage AI as a primary design tool before traditional tools

Requirements

• 10+ years of end‑to‑end product design experience for web and/or mobile
• Staff‑level expertise leading broad, ambiguous design areas
• Strong UX and UI skills with proven design‑system implementation
• Ability to align cross‑functional stakeholders and explain complex strategy
• Full‑cycle design ownership from ideation to design QA
• High‑quality portfolio with at least one detailed case study
• Proficiency with AI tools integrated into the design workflow
• Experience mentoring designers and participating in hiring
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
