Technical Design Manager

Lead and approve sprinkler and gaseous suppression designs through RIBA Stage 4, set design criteria, and review contractor designs for compliance and design intent. Represent the consultancy with clients and project teams, inspect and audit systems, advise on specialist risks, and mentor designers while developing technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and approve sprinkler and gaseous suppression designs through RIBA Stage 4, set design criteria, and review contractor designs for compliance and design intent. Represent the consultancy with clients and project teams, inspect and audit systems, advise on specialist risks, and mentor designers while developing technical standards.
Requirements
- Substantial senior-level sprinkler design experience is required, along with strong knowledge of BS EN 12845, LPC Rules, BS 9251, gaseous suppression standards, Revit-based design, and hydraulic calculations. Candidates should be confident communicating technical decisions and have a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel in the UK and occasionally to Ireland and Europe.
