Senior Product Designer (w/m/d) - remote
Hero Software Gmbh Remote (🇩🇪 Berlin, Germany)
You will develop thoughtful product solutions from initial sketches to final interfaces while collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. You will also utilize qualitative and quantitative research to validate ideas and ensure high-quality user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design complete product solutions from initial sketches to high‑fidelity interfaces
- Prioritize problems and opportunities with the product trio to maximize impact
- Create user journeys, flows, and prototypes to validate ideas quickly
- Combine research, customer feedback, and analytics to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, research, analytics, and brand teams
- Introduce new methods, trends, and AI technologies to accelerate the design process
- Contribute to design systems, work practices, and cross‑functional design topics
- Mentor team members and share insights across the organization
Requirements
- Several years of product design experience, preferably in SaaS
- Strong discovery and research skills, combining qualitative and quantitative data
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, and design tools like Figma
- Experience with Dovetail and Mixpanel is a plus
- Ability to create journeys, user flows, prototypes, and conduct usability testing
- Knowledge of design systems and contribution to cross‑team design standards
- Excellent collaboration and communication with product, engineering, and research stakeholders
