Senior Forward Deployed UX Designer (Asheville, NC or Nashville, TN)

Lead UX design for AI-enabled clinical solutions by working on-site with clinicians, engineers, hospital IT teams, and product leaders to understand workflows and turn research insights into validated experiences. Guide design from concept through prototype, shape safe and explainable AI interactions, ensure solutions align with business goals and design standards, and mentor fellow designers.
Responsibilities
- Lead UX design for AIâenabled clinical solutions
- Work onâsite with clinicians, engineers, hospital IT teams, and product leaders
- Understand workflows and translate research insights into validated experiences
- Guide design from concept through prototype
- Shape safe and explainable AI interactions
- Ensure solutions align with business goals and design standards
- Mentor fellow designers
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with a master's degree)
- Bachelor's degree (or master's equivalent)
- Experience leading design in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to design complex AIâenabled solutions in regulated environments
- Rapid prototyping from user insights
- Experience working with engineers in Agile and Gitâenabled environments
- Proficiency with Figma and Microsoft Office
- Onâsite work five days per week
