Staff Product Designer, Design Systems

Own the vision and evolution of Clio’s design system for an AI-first product ecosystem, defining reusable frameworks, patterns, and standards for agentic experiences. Lead end-to-end design and cross-functional strategy, raise quality across teams, and mentor designers while ensuring AI experiences are coherent, trustworthy, and appropriately controlled.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and evolution of Clio’s design system for an AI-first product ecosystem, defining reusable frameworks, patterns, and standards for agentic experiences. Lead end-to-end design and cross-functional strategy, raise quality across teams, and mentor designers while ensuring AI experiences are coherent, trustworthy, and appropriately controlled.

Requirements

• Requires 8+ years of product design experience, strong UX craft and product judgment, and a track record of shipping scalable, high-quality work across complex products and teams. Candidates should have experience designing AI-powered interactions and reusable design systems, along with strong customer discovery, communication, facilitation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
