Lead UX Designer Mobile and Web

Lead UX design for mobile and web ecommerce experiences, optimizing key funnel areas such as product listing pages, product detail pages, carts, and checkout. Drive discovery and design decisions, collaborate across product and engineering teams, and present and influence design direction with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate mobile and web ecommerce experiences across the full funnel
• Lead discovery, research, and ideation phases to uncover user needs and business opportunities
• Create high‑fidelity prototypes and visual designs using Figma and AI‑assisted tools
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and data analysts to align design with metrics
• Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and data‑driven design iterations
• Advise on information architecture, interaction patterns, and visual hierarchy
• Mentor junior designers and champion design best practices across the organization
• Present design concepts and rationales to senior leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of ecommerce UX design experience
• Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking and visual design excellence
• Expert proficiency with Figma and AI‑assisted design workflows
• Experience designing responsive web for complex ecommerce sites
• Experience with iOS native design conventions and emerging technologies
• Deep understanding of ecommerce KPIs and funnel optimization (PLP, PDP, cart, checkout)
• Experience with design systems (highly desirable)
• Ability to lead design through influence and inspire cross‑functional teams
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage fast‑paced schedules and multiple priorities
